President
The duties of the President shall be to oversee all voting, to maintain frequent communication with the club advisor, to initiate an election each year for the following year’s office positions, and to renew the registration for the club each year to Student Life and Leadership. Must attend SOCIA training. The President invites guest speakers to member meetings, promotes leadership within the organization, and serves as the official representative of ASMA at CPO meetings. To be eligible to run for President, an individual must have held a previous ASMA officer position for one year. Must be open to ideas on how to improve the organization. Will serve as official representative of this organization.
Vice President
The Vice President shall be the representative of ASMA to the San Diego State University Students. As Vice President, the individual must preside at all meetings in absence of the President. The Vice President will act as President if he or she is unable to fulfill their duties. This position acts as the disciplinary figure and will resolve disputes between members. To be eligible to run for Vice President, an individual must have held a previous ASMA officer position for one year. Act as judiciary chair and reiterate rules stated in the constitution to members and up hold other Executive Officers, if necessary. Lastly will keep record of attendance/points of members to ensure proper membership status is granted within the organization.
Secretary
The duties of Secretary shall be to keep records of meetings, maintain the membership roster, to take roll call of ASMA and to attend all ASMA meetings. Will send out list of events and registration links to all members and be responsible for keeping track of event attendance. The Secretary will send out reminders about meetings and upcoming events. Secretary will also be primary liaison to ASMA advisor.
Treasurer
The Treasurer shall be the one responsible for collecting dues, keeping financial records, and spending money at discretion of the Majority Vote of the ASMA Executive Board and budget of the organization. Must also attend SOCIA training. The treasurer will assist the President and Vice President when applying for AS/CSSC funding. The treasurer shall also deliver a biweekly summary of ASMA funds at executive board meetings. Will construct a clear and transparent display of where dues and funds will be spent throughout the year. Plan and run all fundraisers with help of Director of Events. Contact food businesses for fundraisers (i.e. Yogurtland, Woodstocks, etc.). Contact other businesses, not food, to set up fundraising opportunities. Contact business for donations or gift-cards. Must complete at least two fundraising events each semester.

Oversee the planning and execution of all ASMA philanthropic, community service, and social events. The Director of Events will delegate tasks related to planning, philanthropic, community service, and social events. Will plan the end pf the year banquet for active members alongside the Internal Vice President. Will log and track community service hours of members with Student Life and Leadership. Responsible for creating google document for events.
Director of Marketing and Public Relations
Act as webmaster through maintaining ASMA’s website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Will advertise fundraisers, community service and social events on ASMA website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Publish announcements on ASMA’s website and/or Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Alongside the External VP recruit students to join ASMA as general members. Will update Requirements on Website and manage meeting/event attendance. Design and order new t-shirts when needed, keep inventory of t-shirts and facilitate t-shirt sales with the help of the treasurer.
College of Sciences Student Council Representative
The CSSC representative shall be responsible for representing the Aztec Sports Medicine Association during the CSSC meetings. They shall fulfill all requirements of the CSSC along with the requirements of ASMA to be an active officer. They shall communicate information from each CSSC meeting to the organization.
